The Naacp Foundation goal is to erase all racial discrimination through the democratic processes. How we do this? We do this by We advocate, agitate, and litigate for the civil rights due to Black America. our mission statment is "is to achieve equity, political rights, and social inclusion by advancing policies and practices that expand human and civil rights, eliminate discrimination, and accelerate the well-being, education, and economic security of Black people and all persons of color.
History
I know you might be asking "where does the Naacp come from". Well todays your lucky day because In 1908, a deadly race riot rocked the city of Springfield. That cause eruptions of anit-black violence. Lynching was very common, but the Springfeild riot was the finail breaking point into creating the NAACP.
Leadership
NAACP is led by a Board of Directors, which is currently chaired by Leon W. Russell The CEO and President is Derrick Johnson. .
